Fredryk Phantasy Demo Released!

Alrighty heres a taste of the game. Though it is the first two chapters of the game, there is much more and much better content to come. I felt like releasing these two chapters in order to see if i get a decent reaction.

In the demo you only play as fred and learn the basics of the game. Do remember to equip items as you find them, as it can be important. (such as weapons and armor)

First video I have filmed since I moved up here to IL. It's also the first commercial I have made as well, another first - First time I have stripped all sound from a video and remade my own sound effects. Anyhow hope you enjoy!

Ebaum 1 Bloopers

Made this a while back and gave them to fred but i guess he didn't decide to post them on his LJ.

Well anyhow I looked at them again today and they are actually pretty funny. They ARE unedited as far as lighting and sound goes.. as bloopers are since you dont use them in the actual film.

Was sitting in the IRC channel and the topic came around to "how cool it would be if there was a Fredryk Phox Final Fantasy Game" And have things such as Ebaum as the final boss, as well as other characters of his and other internet names showing up in the game.

I took it a little to far.

I went and got a program called RPG Creator to make such a game. I don't know when or IF the game is going to come out, for all i know it may just end up being something im interested in now and ends up as an unfinished product.

Anyhow here is the title screen i plan to use, and screenshots will come later.

Ive asked fred if he was fine with it, ive yet to get a reply so i wont be doing too much work until i get the Ok by him. If he does not want to be mentioned in this or be a part of it, I may still make a game off of internet personalities and change the main character.

Planned Playable Characters:
Fredryk Phox (Main Hero)
Mark Pengwins
Artie McFlaggart (secret Character)
Mr B (possible, still thinking of why hed help fred fight Ebaum)

Urban Legend or Not? The Tale goes that there were some oil drill workers drilling for oil and they hit some sort of air pocket. They send down a mic for sonar and hear some sounds from hell of people screaming and such.

This Film was for a project in my Spanish 2 Class which is why 5 or 6 scenes are in Spanish. I DO have sub titles in English.

This film has a cast of 11 people.

Here it is. The basis of this film is that someone is flipping through television channels. Call it a re-cap show if you want, although there is some new material in this.

New Video - Prophetic

Was laying on my couch last night and thought up the entire script, wrote it down, and filmed as well as edited it last night and today.

Its called Prophetic. Its my first actual film with the split screen and other special effects.

By the way sorry that all the videos are WMV. I hate it as much as anyone else since the quality is shot so bad in WMV files. Everything looks perfectly fine in its AVI form.

I already know i fucked up on the sound, in the future i will use a microphone. The reason i didnt this time is that i filmed some of it early in the morning (around 3 AM) and didn't think about using a mike. To keep some consistency i filmed the rest without a mike, kind of a mistake. So ahead of time im sorry if some of it is hard to hear.

By the way if you like angels... dont watch this.

New "video"

This is not scripted or have anything to do with the series im working on. I was messing around with my editor and camera today testing split screens and such. I also happened to get a new tripod today so im going to be filming some short film tonight and possibly tomorrow as well.

Before anyone decides to be a critic, the video im posting is no where near perfect. The only purpose of the video was testing. Everything is done in ONE take and there are mistakes that can be pointed out. This is my first attempt at doing anything with split screens. The mistakes are actually harder to find in the good AVI version which is a couple hundred MB rather than the low-rate WMV file that I have to post due to various reasons. So ahead of time i already know all of the mistakes that are in the video and there is no need to post comments pointing them out. With that said its not that bad of a video for something i did in half a day at most.

The Show

Still working out some of the ideas on the show. I recently cleaned the room which i live in to the cleanest that i have ever seen this room in my life so it will work as a set now. I have a couple of people writing for us. I would appreciate and will credit anyone's help used in the show.

Currently the essensials we need:

Writers for scripts
Theme Song
Title for the Show

I dont want to use any already published songs for the show for obvious reasons. Jeff and i may be able to write some sort of theme song soon that i will post here after we have a title idea.

Basis of the show:

The show is about two roomates Khad Banks (Myself) and Chonsy Littlebig (Jeff Bean). Basically i am trying to make 5 - 8 minute episodes to kepe file size down. I am looking for scripts with clever humour. Khad Banks will be played as a sarcastic character, Chonsy Littlebig will be played as a very slack and not so bright character (no hes not completely stupid.) There will be others in the show but so far not as main characters.

I have had an idea to make a scripted movie or series, since a movie would be larger in file size i plan on just making a "show" having episodes 5 or so minutes long. I am currently working on the script of the pilot episode. If you have any ideas for episodes or scenes reply to this post and if they are funny enough credit will be given for the idea.

The name of the show is currently under work.

A Wonderful Day

So im walking out of my third class for the day and i felt like getting a drink. I put a quarter in the machine and it tells me theres 5 dollars in there. I figure its a read error or someone got ripped off so i order a drink. It works, and gives me 20 cents back. I put in a dime and it reads as 2 dollars, i get a drink and get a nickel back.

Right away i run to the computer lab where some friends are at and we came back with a ton of change and cleaned that machine out. One friend of mine getting 12 or 13 drinks putting them in a bag. So these dollar drinks now cost 5 cents a peice. I decided to be nice and share the wealth so to speak so any passer-bys got a free drink, soon the hall was packed full of people with me giving people free or cheap drinks. I ended up leaving but people stayed behind pumping the machine full of nickels and such for their "discount" drinks, so much that the machine overheated and broke down, but not before 6 rows of drinks were cleared out.

What a wonderful day indeed...

Counter-Strike Source Map

For the past couple of days I have been working on a Counter-Strike: Source map (My first Serious map). The map is based loosely off of my own house (the floor plans are similar) with some changes. I tried to make the map fair for both teams and in testing it with a few others, it seemed pretty even for either side. Another thing that makes it even is the fact there are no hostages or bomb sites. The map is also pretty small, so sniper rifles aren't that big of a problem, nor is having to wait for a long time for a round to end.

The house in the map has a couple of places for the counter-terrorists to gain entry. All lights in the map (besides sunlight obviously) have light switches that either team can use (ideally terrorists) for tactical reasons. Two testers said there were problems with the driveway (shininess) however another tester and I did not see anything wrong. So if some of you have some weird problem with that, try and ignore it because I dont have any problem with "shininess" and therefore cant attempt to fix it. There is also an easter egg hidden in the map.

The Map's Name is "cs_khadshouse" (creative huh?).

The map holds 24 players max (12 on each team).

Somehow in #Fredrykphox the subject to me doing backyard wrestling a couple years ago arose so I ended up putting two videos on the net for download. Thanks to Xx-MP-xX from #fredrykphox i have some web space for videos and such. This video is of a friend of mine (Jeff Bean) and myself while we were out around 3 AM.Jeff was honking his truck horn through neighborhoods so I decided to film some of it and made a crappy Cops Parody. Also there is a commercial i did in the middle of it (corresponding to the picture below).
